1. What is "Shaolin Kempo" ?
Shaolin Kempo
is a style of martial arts, it is a combination of Okinawan Karate, 5 Animal
Kung Fu, Jiu-jitsu and Kempo. Various aspects of the different arts were combined together
to create a superior system for defending yourself in many situations, as opposed to the more
stringent aspects of  each system separately.  A good physical definition of  "Shaolin Kempo
Karate
" is: effective multiple strikes (linear, angular, circular) off a moving base with simult-
aneous manipulations of your opponents upper and lower body masses, while maintaining a
position of strength relative to your current environment.
(for more information see Shaolin Kempo History)

2. What is the difference between Kempo and Kenpo ?
Both arts rooted from the same seed.  However they have evolved differently.  Up to the later
part of this century the difference was more of a "Transitional Glitch", however today there
are some significant differences.  "Kempo" is usually associated with "Professor Chow" and
his subsequent lineage.  "Kenpo" is usually associated with "Grandmaster Parker" and his
subsequent lineage.  It is interesting to note that "Master Mitose" used Kempo and Kenpo
interchangeable when he spoke of his families art form.

3. Am I too old ?, Am I too out of shape?, Have no time to Train ?
The only person you compete against is the person you were yesterday.  You progress at your
own pace and do what you feel comfortable with.  Saying your too old!, Too out of shape! and
have no time are great excuses if you are looking for an excuse.  Remember "A journey of a
thousand miles begins with a single step".
(for  info on training at home see At Home Video Training)

4. How In-depth are the Video series tapes ?
Each Video contains at least one (1) full hour of material, it has been compared to a private
lesson.  Each tape contains information based on Belt Ranks and reviews all the material
needed in slow and full motion, including demonstrations with and without partners.

(for Belt Requirements and sample Video Clips, see Belt Rank Requirements section)

5. How safe is it to use my credit card for purchasing Merchandise on-line ?
A credit card is your best defense on the Web,  The importance of  keeping a credit card
number confidential has been drummed into consumers' head for years.  So it's no surprise
some  people fear their credit card number are vulnerable in cyberspace.  But that belief is
unfounded.  When  it comes to buying  products on the internet, the credit card is the best
method of   payment because it provides the most protection to the consumer if something
goes  wrong.  Federal  law guarantees that  cardholders are  liable  for only  the  first  $50.
in fraudulent charges  if  the number  falls into criminal hands- though there are no reported
incidents of  numbers being   grabbed  en route at an on-line store.  "It could happen, but I
think  you're  relatively  safe,"  says  William Perez,   coordinator  of  the white collar crime
program of  the  FBI. Criminals  are  more apt   to target  databases filled with credit  card
numbers.  "That's  where  the  pot of gold is, " adds   Perez,  It's best  to stick with retailers
that have SECURE SITES.   "When  you  don't  know   who  you are dealing with,  use a
credit card", says David Medine, a Federal Trade Commission official.

6. Does Shaolin Kempo Order System use a Secure Web Site ?
Yes,  the  Shaolin Kempo Web site, use's  Secure order forms, when ordering Videos,
Books or other Merchandise.

7. What is the "At Home Training" program ?
