I don't talk to many people in traditional martial arts these days, and I was just looking to strike up some good conversation. To start off should I call it 2nd DAN or 2nd DEGREE and can anyone tell me the difference if any? and what does DAN mean is it Chinese? And as far as good conversation I'm curious what anyones view on Mixed Martial Arts Competitions like UFC, Pride, King of the Cage, etc. etc. I'm only curious because as I said before, I've lost contact with many of the people I knew in Kempo. How does everyone rate groud fighting like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu? Boxing compared to Kempo, or other martial arts Kickboxing compared to Tae Kwon Do etc. Thanks, Ace PS: sorry for typos, I typed in a hurry. |
